Worlds in the Inner Sphere

Darwin

One of the first worlds with a developed ecology to be discovered, Darwin had an Earth-like environment and both aquatic and land plant-life; the landplants resembled glass-coated mosses. After thousands of years of debate and even conflict, this world is now a Caretaker God protectorate.

Aardwolf

The !Kung colony mission to this world failed because it had already been developed secretly by the a-human AI grouping known as

the Three Kings; the human colony has been preserved at a slow subjective rate of time, and (in theory) the long lived red dwarf star Gliese 876 will continue to support the humans and AI for tens of billions of years into the deep future.

Twilight

Twilight (originally Dawn) is tidally locked to its star, Keid, an orange dwarf; nevertheless there was a primitive ecology there, and the world was terraformed along the twilight strip relatively easily. Fierce winds make gliding and flying a major and challenging pastime on this world.

Keid is a trinary star; the companion white dwarf and red dwarf both have long established colonies, all three originally part of the Eridanus league, an early interstellar empire.
