The Eburacum Gazetteer of Colonized and Inhabited Worlds

An illustrated catalogue of some of the various worlds found in the civilised galaxy; part of the Orion’s Arm Worldbuilding Project;

These illustrations have been produced using the Celestia Space Simulator.

Some Smaller Worlds

Sesharia (Secharia)

Sesharia was colonised by the cyber-dwarf clades of the Doran Empire; later the Bluesky Cult arrived to help with the development of the system, building the first full Bluesky Worldhouse to keep the atmosphere from escaping. A central strip is left uncovered to allow spacecraft to land here.

---------------------------------------

Audubon (Audobon)

Audubon has been Caeliformed; an artificial atmosphere is maintained here by imports of volatiles from the outer system. This world was the first planet colonised by the Engenerator system; an uploaded copy of the colonist is transmitted to a nanotech assembler, together with that person's original DNA data; a new body is rapidly grown and the colonist is downloaded into it.

Tradescant

Another world in the Audubon system, orbiting the small gas giant Linnaeus. This world also has a worldhouse roof; most inhabitants of this world are Engenerated copies or descendants of copies.

------------------------------------

Bolobo

Bolobo was also settled by engenerator, early in the First Federation era; the uploaded colonists were sent by laser communication beam to the system AI, Sir Isaac Newton (Zak), who secretly incorporated mind control software inside the colonist's reconstructed bodies. This led to a cycle of increasingly erratic and paranoid behavior and murder. Later the proactively evolved bonobo chimpanzee population of Bolobo came into conflict with the Greater Chimps of Digit; the Bolobo System Wars were short but fierce.
